FAQs

After following your typical nail prep routine of pushing back your cuticles, filing, buffing and cleansing your nail plate, you should...

  1. Apply a small amount of Fix 'N' Flash Gel to your nail and the soft gel tip.
  2. Firmly place the gel nail extension on your natural nail, making sure there aren't any bubbles or gel on the skin around your nail.
  3. Flash cure for 15 seconds (LED lamp or Fix ‘N’ Flash Torch) or 30 seconds (UV lamp) while still pressing down.
  4. After that, cure your nails for the regular 60 seconds (LED lamp) or 120 seconds (UV lamp).

To remove your gel extensions...

  1. Cut down your soft gel tips using The Shortie nail extension clipper and buff the gel polish on your nails using a Half Moon Nail File.
  2. Soak a nail wipe in Gel Remover or 100% Acetone, securing it with a Gel Polish Soak Off Clip or foil.
  3. After 10-15 minutes, remove your wrap and use a Gel Scraper to gently push the polish and tip from your nail plate. You can repeat this process if you have any tough spots that won't come off.
  4. Once your nails are polish-free, thoroughly wash your hands, and hydrate with some cuticle oil.
