The short answer is yes, and the more times you do it, the better you will get!
All you need to get started is a cuticle pusher, nail file, nail buffer, Prep & Wipe, Lint Free Wipes, a base coat, a UV or LED lamp, gel nail polish, a top coat, and acetone.
- Push back your cuticles with a metal cuticle pusher.
- Shape nails with a Half Moon Nail File, then buff your nails with a 180-grit buffer to remove the shine.
- Cleanse your nail from dirt with Prep & Wipe soaked on a Lint-Free Wipe.
- Then, apply a Base Coat and cure for 60 secs under our LED lamp (or 120 secs under a UV lamp).
- Apply a thin layer of your chosen gel polish and cure again. You can apply 2 coats or more as needed to build up opacity and for a darker finish, curing in between layers.
- Next, apply a Top Coat and cure.
- Remove the tacky layer with Prep & Wipe on a Lint-Free Wipe. Or, you can use a No Wipe Top Coat to save this step.
- Use our Sweet Almond Cuticle Oil to nourish your nails and cuticles.
