We use top-quality nail glitter for our glitter sets. The particles are fine and chunky, so you can mix and match them to create the perfect look.
No, craft glitter is not the same as nail glitter. We recommend only using products labelled as nail glitter, as craft glitter may not be suitable for use on the nails.
To keep the glitter from falling off your nails, it’s important to encapsulate with a Top Coat or layer of Builder Gel. That way, you can be sure your nail glitter won't budge and will last for weeks!
To seal glitter on your nails, all you need to do is float a layer of clear Builder Gel over the top. That way, the nail glitter will be secured. Once you have applied the Builder Gel to your nails, glide a smooth layer of top coat over to seal in the glitter. Cure with a UV or LED lamp to set.
Neither is better than the other! It really depends on the type of look you want to achieve.
Loose glitter is more versatile in that it can be applied in various ways, such as encapsulating in Builder Gel, shaking over loose, or picking our singular glitter flakes. Glitter gel polish will give your nails an all-over glitter effect with less work involved in the application.
Both our loose glitter and glitter polish will last up to 3 weeks, though, so you can admire your glitter nails for days on end.
